A whole smoked turkey makes for an incredibly delicious juicy and flavorful centerpiece for holiday meals and family gatherings. The smoky aroma and taste takes ordinary turkey to the next level. But where can you buy a high-quality pre-smoked whole turkey? With many options from grocery stores to online mail order this guide will walk you through the best places to shop for a whole smoked turkey.
Why Choose a Smoked Turkey?
Smoking infuses the turkey meat with a rich, smoky wood-fired flavor that roast turkey just can’t match. The process also keeps the meat incredibly moist and tender. Buying pre-smoked saves you the effort of doing it yourself. A smoked turkey only needs gentle reheating before serving. It’s a convenient shortcut to amazing flavor.
Whole smoked turkeys are available from 10 to 20+ pounds to feed any size gathering. You can find them bone-in or boneless. Smoked turkey also makes fantastic leftovers for sandwiches, casseroles and more.

The Taste of The Holidays
Greenbergs have been smoking turkeys in Tyler for over 80 years. Little has changed in that time.
We prep each turkey by hand. After giving it our signature rub, we send the turkey to smoke for upwards of 16 hours.
Our Turkeys range in size from 5 to 15 pounds. We are unique in that you can order that size that you require as long as it is available. A rule of thumb for size is a third to half a pound per person for average eaters. Of course, this may vary, but we find this to be accurate in most cases.
We’ll Give You a Hand with the Leftovers
