Recreating Bacon Bites at home is easy if you have these basic ingredients on hand:

  • Thick-cut smoked bacon – go for a high-quality artisan bacon with good marbling for the best flavor.

  • Dense cheese like cheddar, gouda, or havarti – avoid cheeses that are too soft or crumbly.

  • Breadcrumbs or panko – these help bind the bites together.

  • Eggs – used to adhere the breading.

  • Spices like garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.

  • Toothpicks or skewers for assembly.

  • Oil or butter for cooking.

Constructing the Bacon Bites

  1. Cook the bacon until crispy, then allow to slightly cool and chop into small pieces.

  2. Grate or finely dice the cheese into small cubes.

  3. In a bowl, mix together the bacon, cheese, breadcrumbs/panko, and seasonings.

  4. Form heaping teaspoon-sized balls of the mixture and flatten into disks.

  5. Dip the disks into the beaten egg, allowing excess to drip off.

  6. Insert a toothpick into each disk, dip into egg again, then coat with additional breadcrumbs/panko.

  7. Refrigerate for 30 minutes to allow coating to adhere.

Basics[]

Recipes are currently divided into 4 types of cuisines:

As part of the tutorial, you will select one cuisine to develop first (Gloriville, Sakurajima or Light Kingdom). After you’ve made all the recipes from one type of food, you can make all the recipes from the other types right away. Lost Cuisine recipes, however, are progressively unlocked as you fulfill Side Story Missions.

As you go through Normal and Hard Stages, you can get the ingredients you need for recipes. You can also buy them at the Market. You just need to add the ingredients and wait for the recipe to be unlocked to make a recipe.

Each recipe has an “exquisite” counterpart, which is used to raise Food Soul fondness. When you cook a dish, you get an exquisite dish by chance. This is not the same as making a recipe with exquisite seasonings.
