Waldo’s Chicken & Beer, a growing fast casual chicken restaurant, is scheduled to open its second Arkansas location on Feb. 21, at 6 Bass Pro Drive in Little Rock (in the former David’s Burgers location). The restaurant is currently hiring 30 to 40 new workers and training them for all positions so that they can start on time for the grand opening.

The Keet family’s JTJ Restaurants, LLC, is the group behind the restaurant. JTJ Restaurants opened the first Arkansas Waldo’s location in North Little Rock in March last year. The Bass Pro Drive location will be the third Waldo’s owned by the Keet Family. In 2020, the Keets, along with partners Mike Pierce Jr. , Mark Waldo, Dino Nithianandan and Fresh Hospitality, opened the first Waldo’s outside of Nashville in Tulsa, Oklahoma. An additional Little Rock Waldo’s location has also been announced for the Breckenridge Shopping Center redevelopment.

The new Bass Pro Drive location seats up to 74 for indoor dining, including a full-service bar. Additional seating is available on a private outdoor patio. Waldo’s is currently hiring to fill management, all front and back-of-house positions and seeking to employ 30-40 additional staff members.
